Parade used to be held regularly in the ‘quadrangle’ between C, E, F and B blocks. The bitumen was painted with white dots in rows for students to stand upon. The calls of “attention” and “at ease” were called out by the Principal who stood on the open walkway between C and F blocks to address the students. A flag pole still stands next to the walkway where once the Australian flag was raised to the tune of “God save the Queen”. Around 2013 the parade ground was landscaped and it now has shady trees in raised garden beds and seating areas. A range of large coloured spots in our house colours of red, yellow, green and blue make a pathway from F block to the Administration building.
