Celebration Update – July 2020

Thank you for registering your interest in our 150th celebrations.

A small organising committee have been meeting for almost a year to plan for a memorable year.

Our program of 2021 events have been decided and the organising is underway. An artist has even been commissioned to produce an artwork to celebrate our school ready for next year. So excitement across the school community is building. It’s going to be a special year for our school community – past and present, and we’re so happy that you can be part of the celebrations.

Finding and communicating with our Alumni…
We need to find all our past Alumni, so please share this update with anyone you know that would be interested. We also want to keep you up to date with everything that is happening. A regular email will be sent to everyone who registers in our Alumni database. Register your details here…
Other information can be found on our website – www.yerongass150.com

Sharing your story…
Do you have an interesting story or memory from your involvement at our school – either as a student, parent, teachers and others. You are invited to contribute a written piece for a special commemorative book to be published later this year, ready for next year’s celebrations. See the attached criteria for more information. Please email contributions and questions to Carla Walker at
history@yerongass150.com by Friday 4 September.

  1. Hello Carla and Jennifer, I would be pleased to hear about the upcoming 150th celebrations. Past students, living interstate would appreciate early notice of key dates to make travel arrangements to attend. Best wishes for this special event.

    1. Thanks Lyn for your message, you can look on our events page for the dates of events. Stay tuned, we will have some more news soon. Thanks
