In 1973, the construction of purpose-built A block was complete and its new tenants moved into it. Administration staff including Principal Frank Killoran, Deputy, Principal Fred Bauer and secretarial staff occupied the first level at the front. A double Grade 3 class occupied the double classroom on the first level at the back and downstairs had staffroom, teachers’ toilets at the front, and a full-sized library at the back. To remain connected with all the first level classrooms, a covered walkway was built across from A Block to C Block.
